Hi there, my name is Jackie. Thanks for stopping by to learn more about me and what I can do to help you.
You, like many women I work with, are tired. You do so much for so many and somehow, no matter what you do, you never seem to feel like it is quite good enough.
You are a professional- a high achiever and have always worked really hard to do what was right- for everyone. But after working so hard to compete, to be the best- to be perfect- you are exhausted.
Being perfect is impossible. It just is. And here’s the thing- you don’t have to be. No one is. Perfectionism is a constraint under which no one should live. It is not sustainable, hence the feeling of burnout. You can still achieve what you want to without sacrificing what makes you-you- in the process.
You are being pulled in a million different directions and living up to others expectations can leave you feeling like you don’t know who you are anymore. You lost yourself somewhere along the line and all you want is to feel whole again.
Your relationships are suffering– with your friends, your partner, maybe even your professional relationships. Getting up in the morning and starting your day is not so easy anymore. That feeling of dread that you get on Sunday night, in anticipation of your first day back at work on Monday is stressful and anxiety producing. The thought of going back to work is stressful.
When you lose sight of who you are and what is important to you, nothing is fulfilling anymore.
When is the last time you were engaged in what you were doing- like you were in the zone? Do you remember what it felt like to laugh- really laugh? Do you remember what it was like to have fun, to feel pure joy without worry?
You were once that person. Do you remember who she was?
When you are under some much pressure, being engaged at work and at home, remembering what fun, true laughter and joy can feel like, it seems as if you never really experienced those feelings before. But you did, it is just hard to remember right now.
I do this work because I am truly passionate about showing up for my clients until they can show up for themselves.
A bit of self-disclosure- I understand you because I WAS you.
From the time I was 9 years old- (yes, 9 ) I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up- I even knew what company I wanted to work for. I worked really hard (!!!) to get that job and I did. But…one day I realized that what I was doing wasn’t fulfilling anymore- it wasn’t fun. Work became stressful and I felt anxious and stressed out. I felt like I had to do the ‘right’ things and do them perfectly and discounted what made me feel whole and real and good.
Then I got the help I needed and now I help women who need help with the same thing I did.
We all need a little help sometimes, you are not alone.
Being able to share your thoughts and experiences with a skilled professional who has an objective point of view, in a confidential environment, is invaluable, and you are worth that help, you deserve it.
